Job Title: Weekend Warehouse Manager

Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking a Weekend Warehouse Manager for our Pompano Beach, FL (Fort Lauderdale) location.

This role operates on a four-day schedule of 10-hour shifts (Thursday–Monday) and oversees the day-to-day operations of a busy AV rental warehouse. The focus of this position is ensuring operations run efficiently and that both today’s and tomorrow’s business are completed on time and with excellence.

In high-demand moments, the Warehouse Manager acts as an “air traffic controller,” coordinating the team’s work and ensuring a smooth workflow without having to perform every task directly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily flow of equipment through the warehouse
• Coordinate inbound, outbound, and trucking departments to maximize efficiency
• Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks and reporting
• Facilitate same-day orders and rapid equipment turnaround
• Anticipate operational challenges and proactively implement solutions
• Optimize warehouse layout to improve efficiency and workflow
• Maintain an adequate stock of warehouse supplies and consumables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Rentex sales representatives regarding order-related questions
• Provide daily leadership, direction, and accountability to warehouse staff
• Develop and manage short-term and long-term labor schedules
• Allocate personnel resources based on business demand
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a busy warehouse environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly organized with strong operational awareness
• Working knowledge of warehouse layout and workflow optimization
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
